Technical Project Manager / Engineer
As a Technical Project Manager / Engineer, you will report directly to the Executive Vice President and be responsible to lead and manage the technical and engineering activities of a selection of development projects and programs as well as research and report on a variety of technical areas. As a small private company, these projects will necessarily vary in size, scope, and required technical competence. This role requires complete adaptability to shifting priorities of management objectives across R&D, business system development, facilities construction, and quality system management.

Responsibility

· Responsible for developing, executing and reporting on projects and programs designed in conjunction with Executive Vice President

· Onsite representative of Executive Vice President

· Lead and/or coordinate cross-functional project team including material, mechanical, software, systems, test and safety team members

· Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables

· Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles

· Ensure all discipline leads have completed required work products at various gates of the project phases and prepare Engineering Release package for each gate

· Responsible for project configuration and change management execution

· Support the communication between manufacturing, systems, and engineering teams

· Primary technical representative of Executive Vice President

Requirements / Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management

· Experience with quality managements systems (i.e. ISO9001)

· Obsessive attention to detail

· System-thinking competence to see how the individual issues and tasks fit with the overall project plan

· Problem definition competence as building block of overall causal analysis competence

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
