Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Toll Auditor in Orlando, FL for the Central Florida Expressway.

Responsibilities:
The Auditor reports directly to the Audit/Courier Manager and must be able to work independently within a team structure and work in accordance with SHIMMICK safety rules and requirements.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Enter large amounts of data correctly
  • Input bank and collector deposit information into an Excel spreadsheet
  • Reconcile traffic, revenue and research discrepancies
  • Ensure accuracy/completeness of audits
  • Detect and analyze trends and patterns
  • Produce reports and meet weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Be dependable and detail oriented
  • Be able to multi-task, recall procedures and learn new concepts
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent (GED)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous toll auditing and or accounting experience.
  • Understanding of Electronic Toll and Traffic Management system.
  • College degree or currently enrolled in college courses.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate – ability to understand, speak, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 Excel
  • (10) key typing and operation of a ten (10) key calculator
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as a copier, printer, calculator, fax machine, and telephone
  • Ability to use software such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and familiarity with network login concepts and basic Internet concepts
  • Ability to work (sit, stand, etc.) during the entire shift in an office environment (i.e at a computer)
Communication Skills:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate – ability to understand, speak, write, and read English
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with toll plaza managers, supervisors, co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner
Physical:
  • Ability to work (sit, stand, etc.) during the entire shift in an office environment (i.e., at a computer)
  • Ability to place and retrieve information in and from file cabinets in the storage area
  • Regular pulling, lifting and carrying up to ten (10) pounds
  • Must be able to effectively communicate – ability to understand, speak, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Additional Information:
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization
  • Basic schedule will be Monday thru Friday with flexible work hours
  • Availability to work overtime as required
