Job description
Responsible for taking quality radiographs and working with the radiologist and other radiological technologists in assisting with fluoroscopy procedures.
Position requires performing mammography procedures. If not qualified to do CT procedures at the time of hire, must be willing to be trained in all aspects of CT scanning within thirty (30) days of hire.
Must be able to work independently in all areas of radiography including the emergency and operating room.
Position requires technologists to handle any clerical work needed in the the radiology department (e.g. scheduling; distributing reports; answering phones). Position requires standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback, and technologists must be able to respond to the facility in less than thirty (30) minutes. Ability to make contact in a calm, professional manner with people who may be under physical and emotional stress.
