Job description

In need of Truck Mechanics, Gas and Diesel Trucks.

Starting position with training available.

Benefits include paid Health and Life Insurance and 401k Package. 3 Shifts (Morning, Evening, Overnight). Monday - Friday, 8 hours shifts, Monday - Thursday 10 hour overnight shifts

Applicants must:

  • Have a current valid Class E drivers license.
  • Be able to operate a manual shift transmission.
  • Be able to pass a DOT examination

Diesel Mechanic Job Duties:

  • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
  • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
  • Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • St. Louis, MO 63132: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Diesel Repair: 1 year (Required)
  • Automotive diagnostics: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Class E (Required)
  • EPA Type II (Preferred)
