It is a great opportunity for newly graduated college students interested in a career in healthcare, specifically those with the intention of attending medical, physician assistant, or nursing school.

We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, confident, well-spoken individual with an interest in Gastroenterology, Fatty liver and NASH, obesity, as well as weight loss.

Experience is not required. We will train candidates. This is an unpaid, part-time/or full-time research colunteer position. Goal is to collect and study clinical data, write clinical research paper/abstract and aim for national conference/medical journal. Conference related cost will be covered by medical practice.

Located blocks away from John Muir and Downtown Walnut Creek, this specialty practice of one physician is supported by a talented staff of administrative and clinical team members. Medical and elective services offered include digestive health consultations, endoscopic procedures, cancer screening and prevention, and advanced liver care, including the only Liver FibroScan in the east bay area. This is a newly created position due to clinical research interest and the team is excited to welcome a reseacrh volunteer as they continue to expand their operations.

This position requires a student to work as both a paid employee and a committed volunteer in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks that are primarily administrative in nature as well as attending community events and working with small groups of people on large public projects. Responsibilities: * Contribute meaningful work to a project. * Volunteer somewhere outside of work. * Help people with their needs. * Learn something new and useful. * Share your skills and expertise with people who need it.
