Urban Nature Store is hiring a Full time and Part-Time Warehouse Team Member for our Etobicoke warehouse. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that involves receiving, picking, packing and shipping orders to our 8 Ontario locations and supporting our mail-order shipping department. It would be an asset if you are also able to assist in our retail store from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the team that prepares Urban Nature Store shipments for our retail stores. Some of your duties may include:
• Receiving and stocking inventory
• Picking and packing orders
• Loading boxes onto trucks for shipment
• Preparing pallets for deliveries
• Counting inventory

The candidate must possess:

• the ability to organize with attention to detail
• a willingness to climb a ladder to 16 foot heights
• data entry skills
• the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly
• adaptability and an affinity for being a team player
• the ability to stand/walk and climb during shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• the ability to effectively communicate in English with other team members
