Ecommerce Web Merchandiser

About the Role:
This position is primarily responsible for merchandising digital content, creating an ecommerce promotional strategy, building out key categories, ensuring the content is presented with quality and accuracy, and verifying that the merchandised product aligns with our ecommerce initiatives. This position will be working closely with the wholesale merchandising, ecommerce marketing and creative teams on campaigns and ensuring consistency is shown on our website. They will also be reporting on the progress and metrics of product and category pages.

Web Merchandiser, Ecommerce Merchandiser
Responsibilities include:
- Develop an ecommerce promotional strategy
- Visually curate ecommerce key category assortments based on margin, sales etc.
- Merchandise and own brand landing pages- ensuring product selection & pricing is accurate throughout the site
- Partner with marketing & merchandising to ensure consistency of messaging & products across all channels
- Assist in developing and maintaining site navigation & continuously refining categories/sub-categories when needed
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop our ecommerce tagging strategy
- Collaborate with the team for onsite optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and search improvements
- Analyze site metrics and customer behavior metrics and develop action plans accordingly
- Report on performance , providing data-driven insight and conducting deep dives to better understand our customer
- Partner with product/tech on site optimization opportunities through AI capabilities
- Conduct audits of digital customer experience and execution of action plans
- Work in the coordination of merchandising/marketing story calendar in line with brand focus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, procurement, business or related field or comparable experience
- 2-4 years experience in online customer ecommerce experience
- Retail merchandising experience preferred
