Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings is seeking a 10 Color Press Operator for its Mt. Pleasant, PA facility.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years' prior offset press printing experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Operate web printing press to print quality production, maintain quality of product, lead and direct press crew, maintain press, and work on other operation duties as directed by the supervisors.
• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multi-color web offset presses (heatset and coldset web).
• Review job specifications to determine the press setup according to the imposition of the run.
• Ensure that all make-ready tasks are done which are associated with the press such as hanging plates, examining plates/cylinders for imperfections and checking for correct positioning of images, prepping blankets, adjusting tension and register etc.
• Make necessary color corrections and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work.
• Ensure that the press is clean, lubricated, and maintained, making minor repairs and replacing worn or broken parts as required. Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer. Notify supervisor and the maintenance department of issues with the equipment.
• Maintain a safe and injury free work environment.
• Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the press.
• Responsible for overall quality of the printed product including color reproduction, product specifications, imaging quality and postal specifications.
• Provide accurate documentation of time, materials, impressions, waste, and run speeds.
• Communicate information effectively with managers and with other crews and departments, scheduling, prepress, maintenance.
• Must be able to work full-time shift, with some overtime as needed.

Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.

• Complies with safety rules and regulations (wear proper safety attire; steel toed shoes or coverings, hearing protection, safety glasses, shields and gloves as needed), is not involved in horseplay, is cautious when near equipment and machines, always make sure safety guards and contactors are in place and operational. Maintains housekeeping in work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Reqularly required to stand, and walk- 8 hours or more.
• Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching.
• Occasional lifting and pushing/pulling and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional repetitive motion with both hands.
• Cannot be colorblind.
• Exposure to high production/output machinery and equipment, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc -- all materials an employee may come in contact with are detailed with readily available MSDS sheets), and constant noise.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
