T&A Supply Company is a family-owned and operated wholesale distributor that has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1960. Our A&D sales team is growing and we are excited to be hiring for an A&D Sales Representative. This position will work out of our Kent corporate office and will travel the greater Seattle area. We are seeking a qualified candidate with design and sales experience.
The A&D Sales Representative supports the overall sales growth of the A&D team by assisting with A&D events, coordinating delivery of marketing materials and product samples to customer locations, and promoting and selling products to customers.
What you will be doing:
Develop relationships with the smaller design firms across the greater Seattle market and support Senior Representatives with larger customers.- Build and develop relationships with designers and architects in the region providing them with product expertise, advice and customer service.
- Liaison between select customer accounts and A&D leadership.
- Maintain an organized and fully stocked (samples, labels) A&D sales area.
- Frequently update the digital and manual resource library.
- Keep up to date with product information.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, design, or marketing a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in the promotion of construction products, or architectural products a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between work and customer locations.
Physical Requirements:
This position is performed in the office as well as in a warehouse setting and outside weather conditions.- Comfortable climbing step ladder to retrieve samples in the warehouse.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to customer locations is required (15%).
- Travel to work locations and trade shows is required (10%).
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
