The John Mini team is a leader in indoor and outdoor landscaping as well as holiday design. We design, install and maintain landscapes all over the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We're a team that’s been around for 50 years and plan to be around for another 50!

We are looking for an Accounts and Billing Specialist to join our Finance team! This role will be responsible for accurate and timely invoicing, as well as accounts receivable tasks.

This position will take place at our Congers, NY headquarters, and will allow for some hybrid flexibility!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve client queries, discrepancies & disputes
• Modify recurring invoicing to reflect any item additions, changes or cancellations
• Track billing changes, purchased orders and other requests pertaining to billing
• Process monthly & quarterly sales tax for all jurisdictions
• Prepare statements, invoices and daily deposits
• Work closely with clients, responding to all inquiries on a timely basis and maintaining close, positive relationships
• Assist the VP of Finance and the Finance Manager as need be

You have:

• 2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
• Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft platforms
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong communication skills, written & verbal
