As a Security Foreman at TRL, you will get the chance to lead and manage the team performing the onsite installation security systems such as AMAG, Honeywell, Lenel, Avigilon, and Genetec, and more. Essential Functions:
  • Provide advance system programming and/or troubleshooting, making timely corrective actions to keep project moving forward.
  • Demonstrate advanced manufacturer knowledge of systems such as Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is completed as needed, ensure project workplan reflects accurate status of work and a complete and well written resolution is entered on all project tickets.
  • Review and update T&M tickets assigned/worked on by onsite team, ensure time is entered correctly, products have been entered and billed accurately, ticket resolution is accurate and complete and ticket status is updated timely for billing.
  • Manage onsite field crews to ensure the successful security system installation of project components.
  • Interpret drawings and identify best methods for project installation.
  • Train technicians on industry principles and standards, ensure that team understands all products installed within their Division.
  • Responsible for managing the onboarding plan and expectations of new team members.
Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation
  • 5+ years installing/servicing security systems
  • 4+ years in a leadership role
  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.


Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
  • Move/transport/install/remove items weighing 50+ pounds
  • Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day
  • Work is performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high rise buildings, and/or hospitals with patient contact.
