We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to join our Audit team for Financial Institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing audits for financial institutions (banks and credit unions). This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting audits of financial institutions, banks, and credit unions to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Developing and implementing audit plans and procedures to identify potential risks and areas of improvement.
• Providing guidance and support to audit team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of audit reports.
• Communicating audit findings to senior management and making recommendations for improvements.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in auditing financial institutions, banks, or credit unions.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing audit plans and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred.
