I. Position Summary
Ensuring consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department while providing an exceptional guest experience
IIa. Job Functions

• Ability to execute host, server assistant, barback, and server job functions
• Opening and closing of bar
• Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation and bar equipment according to health department guidelines
• Cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
• Preparing garnishes for drinks

• Possessing full knowledge of trends in alcohol along with suggestive selling techniques
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks consistent with drink recipe ingredients and portioning for the entire restaurant
• Notifying manager when server drinks are input incorrectly
• Assisting in stocking alcohol
• Fully understanding how to maintain bar area
• Understanding and utilization of bar POS functions
• Understanding of scorpion shot bell

IIb. Job Functions Repeated in Host, Server Assistant, Server, and Barback Description:

• Understanding and utilization of table and seat numbers and ability to perform pivot system
• Understanding of all Nacho Daddy branded items
• Making each guest feel welcomed and valued, delivering a WOW experience
• Deep cleaning tasks
• Full knowledge of menu items
• Ability to maintain an accurate bank
• Fully understanding upselling, sales approaches, common complaints, how to prioritize yourself, maintain dining room, safety and sanitation, and company policies, and the basic steps of service.
• Retrieving order from kitchen and ensuring accuracy before delivery to guest
• Ensuring sanitizer buckets are in accordance to health standards and changed every 2-4 hours
• Abiding all state, federal, and restaurant liquor policies
• Labeling prepared food and understanding of the labeling system
• Verifying guests who purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age, and that alcohol is consumed in designated areas
• Using TAM techniques to monitor guest’s alcohol consumption
• Providing excellent service when delivering food to each guest and getting additional items quickly and efficiently
• Preparing and processing check in a timely manner
• Inspecting restrooms as needed
• Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner with your name and any specials/recommendations
• Accurately taking orders and delivering orders in a timely manner
• Utilization of scorpion shot bell

III. Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age (unless state law allows 18 years of age)
• Company required certification cards
• Minimum 1 year bartending experience required
• Experience in a night life setting is preferred
• Must have a well groomed disposition to make a favorable impression.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and converse comfortably with guests in English
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to at least 8 hours in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environments including nights, weekends, and holidays
• At times, must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Accurate math/cash handling skills
• Compliance to any reasonable request by management
