Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. is in search of a Behavioral Health therapist for our Traverse City clinic. We are dedicated to providing quality healthcare through a wide range of health services to the people in our communities, always serving with dignity and compassion.

As part of the patient-centered health model (PCMH) at Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. (NMHSI), this position provides traditional counseling as well as integrated behavioral health services to patients of NMHSI. As a licensed clinician, the Behavioral Health Therapist will work in an integrated team-based model of care to improve patients’ psychosocial functioning and health.

Salary range: $57,803-82,000

Qualifications include:

• Must possess LMSW licensure in State of Michigan, prefer CAADC credentials for substance abuse. (may consider LLMSW)
• Clinical experience with provision of mental health services in a community-based setting.
• Knowledge of health information related to adults, adolescents and/or children.
• Knowledge of, and experience working in, a primary care facility as a mental/behavioral health specialist preferred.
