Full time: 40 hours per week.

Hours: 8 Hour Shifts - Monday to Friday. Must have open availability. 2 shifts 7am to 3pm and 12pm to 8pm. must be willing to work Saturdays in the future

Job Purpose:

The Call Center - New Patient Associate is the first point of contact for patients, helping them understand our services, why we are different, preparing them for their first visit so they can experience a different type of healthcare. Critically, the new patient associate will ensure our core values are at the heart of all that we do

Job Duties:

• Answer all phone calls from new patients, also be the central phone location for general business inquiries across locations
• Assist in scheduling new patient appointments
• Educate new patients on our services, insurance policies, hours of operation, locations and other questions that may arise
• Follow-up with inbound leads in a timely manner
• Guide new patients with forms and other inquiries before their first appointment
• Follow-up with new patients to who have missed or cancelled an appointment
• Resolve new patient concerns and questions prior to their first appointment
• Interact with patients over the phone in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer, screen, and direct calls to appropriate area on multi-line system
• Record patient information into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Salesforce
• Working with our internal team and insurance companies to obtain authorizations and verify insurances in a timely manner
• Document patient referrals into our EMR and CRM
• Compose and type routine correspondence as required
• Perform general clerical duties ( i.e. filing, photocopying, faxing, mailing)
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential issues
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Qualifications:

• Customer Service/Patient Experience - at least one (1) year of experience in a call center, sales, patient services or customer service role (such as a concierge in restaurants, hotels, or retail)
• Education - College or Junior College, Diploma or equivalent
• High-functioning results driven individual who thrives in a fast paced environment
• Multi-tasking is essential
• Strong communication skills are essential: Verbal and Written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; preferably one year of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) system
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with insurance verification preferred
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of experience and education and from various backgrounds and cultures
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• CRM (Salesforce) experience is a plus
