Kings Construction is a family-owned and operated heavy construction contractor located in Oskaloosa, Kansas focusing on Federal, State, and local government heavy grading contracts as well as meeting the needs of our agricultural community. We pride ourselves in our commitment to safety, family, and community. Currently we employ a range of 75-90 full-time employees and are seeking full-time Off-Road Truck Operators.
Job Overview:
· Adequately operate off-road trucks
o The current opening is for a position at the Panasonic Project in De Soto, KS, with the opportunity to work in surrounding areas upon job completion
· Be familiar with and complete daily equipment inspection checklists
· Perform daily maintenance procedures (i.e. note the service due date, check fluid levels and make sure the equipment to be used is in good running order)
· Clean and maintain tools, jobsite, trucks and equipment
· General labor as needed
· Perform job in accordance with Kings Construction and OSHA Safety Standards
Requirements:
· 1+ years of relevant experience
· Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials
· Self-motivated with a positive and productive attitude
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
· Reliable transportation
· Pass a drug test and physical capacity test
· Must be able to work night shift and weekends
