Data Analyst
SAMETRICA is a SaaS company that helps customers prove and improve the impact of their social investments in areas like education and youth employment by using hard metrics. Our product creates models, collects data and reports on whether social investments are generating value through higher productivity, efficient use of social services, and creating a measurable difference in people’s lives.

We are looking for a versatile data analyst who is excited to jump into the startup space to join our ranks improvising the impact of their social investments. As a member of our team, you'll be able to tackle complex problems, and will have the opportunity to work on a verity of technologies.

Responsibilities

• Model data for clients in Sametrica’s SSG Application
• Build reports in PowerBI and Bold BI
• Construct data models in Azure Analysis Services using PowerShell, MDX, and Operational Data Store (ODS).
• Wringing queries and scripts to collect, clean and transform data.
• Collaborates with clients and members of the team including software developers, business analysts and project managers
• Analyze problems within data and provide solutions.

What you bring to the table

• Worked with SQL databases, including building reports with SQL and updating data
• Experience with Azure Analysis Services or similar data modeling platform
• Hands on Experience cleaning, transforming and visualizing large data sets working with various data formats
• Worked with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, BoldBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with cloud environments including AWS and Azure
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, setting an example for others by proactively tackling challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions
• Comfortable with design thinking and ambiguous complex requirements and see these as an interesting challenge.
• University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or other similar degree.

Compensation:

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
