Job description
Imperial Sprinkler Supply, a partner of Heritage Landscaping Supply Group, is seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player. Safety is one of our many top priorities therefore we offer safety bonuses for clean inspections!
This full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customers, branches, and vendors. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. Pay Rate: $17.00-$19.00 hourly
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road.
- Loading, unloading, and staging orders in a warehouse/jobsite environment.
- Delivering to customer sites and branch locations and unloading products as needed.
- Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
- Other related duties as assigned, such as stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- NON-CDL (Class C) License
- Acceptable driving record
- Basic computer knowledge, keyboard (typing), mouse, Internet use
- Forklift experience helpful
- (Other type of truck experience ie: Flatbed, Moffett, etc.)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license that meets all legal and company insurance requirements and adhere to all safe driving techniques and laws.
- Industrial work boot with traction sole and leather uppers required.
