The E-commerce Site Merchandiser supports effective digital merchandising programs and strategies by selecting and sourcing products focused on achieving marketing and sales goals. Ensures that online product catalogs are designed and maintained accurately on site. Maintains product descriptions, specifications, digital assets, and categorizations. Performs daily analysis of website performance, including product and category performance and visitor data. Coordinates marketing to execute campaigns and seasonal merchandising with an appropriate mix of products.

Essential Job Duties

  • Maintain and manage online product assortments ensuring item content is brand right, relevant, engaging, accurate and in compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Responsible for enhanced product page content builds across ecommerce digital shelves.
  • Responsible for digital shelf content syndication process and execution.
  • Leverage brand assets and adhere to best-in-class product positioning techniques.
  • Create visibility and enhance the overall consumer experience/engagement across our e-commerce channels.

Working closely with:

  • Internal E-Commerce ERP
  • Manufacturer PIM portals
  • External product research tools
  • Backends of marketplace integrators like Amazon, Wal-Mart, eBay, Wayfair, etc.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field.
  • Two-plus years’ experience in ecommerce, merchandising, digital marketing, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Sellercloud.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience/and or education in E-commerce, marketing, and/or merchandising field
  • One-plus years of developing E-commerce ready content.
  • Knowledge of online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc). Experience buying and selling on eBay, Amazon, etc. is preferred.
  • Prior experience with the following software is welcomed: e-commerce systems such as SKU Suite, Skubana, SnapFulfil, Shopify, BigCommerce, Sellbrite, ChannelAdvisor, Listing Mirror, inkFrog, CrazyLister, Syndigo, etc.
  • Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software.
  • Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute.
