Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is seeking a part-time ED Technician. Under supervision of an RN or physician, the ED Tech supports nursing and physician staff with triage, care and treatment of patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries. They serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach, anticipating the needs of the patient and/or team by performing and completing tasks within scope of practice.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED required
• BLS/CPR required before starting
• WA State NAR, NAC, MA-C, MA-R, EMT or EMT-B required
• WA state phlebotomy certification required within 90 days

Preferred:

• ER or Express Clinic experience preferred
• Nursing or other healthcare-related training preferred

Schedule: 0.6 FTE; 24 hours/week; night shift
