Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level C) to join the Equipment Services team based out of West Jordan, UT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance on factory equipment.

  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.

  • Responds to requests for equipment repair.

  • Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.

  • Works under limited supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems.

  • 3+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals.

  • 3+ years of experience with electrical/electronic schematics and drawings.

  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of set up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of complex machine tools. Systems knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, control systems, vision systems, and industrial computers.

  • 3+ years of experience specialized or hands on training in equipment repairs.

  • 3+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems.

  • 3+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance.

  • Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
