What you’ll be doing:
The Executive Director (ED) is accountable for the overall leadership and management of Cascade Manor. This individual will provide operational guidance and strategic direction to 5 department directors to ensure that high quality services are being provided. Above all, this position provides the leadership necessary to fulfill the vision, mission and core values of Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) and Cascade Manor. At PRS our values guide us in our decision-making, informs our daily behaviors, and collectively create the culture of our organization. The ED is positioned not only as the symbol of that culture but has the ability to drive it. This position reports directly to the Executive VP of Operations.
About Cascade Manor
Cascade Manor in non-profit CCRC serving seniors in Eugene since 1967. In the early 1990s, Cascade Manor’s Board of Directors recognized the need for new ideas to be explored, and in 1994, the board approached PRS, to see how they might work together. A dialogue was pursued, and in 1996, Cascade Manor became a PRS affiliate. In 2005, Cascade Manor expanded by adding 50 garden apartments and a state-of-the-art fitness center with an indoor pool, a spa, and exercise equipment specially designed for seniors. In addition, the entire campus was renovated, remodeled, and beautifully redecorated. In 2009, Cascade Manor won Long-Term Living magazine’s 2009 Remodel/Renovation Contest. Cascade Manor was named Best in Category in the Common Spaces Division for its remodel of the Solarium. In December of 2015, Cascade Manor expanded once more, opening 29th Place, and adding 30 beautiful new residences, courtyard spaces, and a lively new dining venue, the Rogue Bistro, to our campus. Today, Cascade Manor has grown to 175 Independent living units, a 32 bed skilled unit, with additional RCF and home care team. We have a 5 star Medicare rating and the average tenure of our department heads is 5 years and boast a high retention rate amongst our full-time staff.

About You:
- Valid Nursing Home Administrator license.
- BS/BA college degree required.
- Significant advanced knowledge of retirement living, hospitality, and the health care or related fields – usually the result of 3 to 5 years of prior experience in a related field.
- Must be experienced in facility operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and program development.
- Must have a high level of tact, persuasion, judgment and timing.
- The preferred candidate must be experienced in facility operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and program development.
- The preferred candidate will be well versed interacting with a broad spectrum of shareholders, including but not limited to Community Board of Directors, department directors, residents, resident families, employees, and volunteers, plus structured communication with residents and constituent groups concerning matters of importance to the organization.
