As Serco’s Government Compliance Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for facilitating business with the US Government by supporting the company’s compliance with government financial regulations. This includes regular interface with a broad team of finance network at all levels within the company.
This position will support government audits of the incurred costs submission, disclosure statement, business systems, and other similar areas. Conducting queries and analysis to support multiple areas.
This position will report into a lead or senior manager as needed. Collaborative team environment of 2-3. The team will grow as Serco continues to grow.

As Serco’s Government Compliance Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for facilitating business with the US Government by supporting the company’s compliance with government financial regulations. This includes regular interface with a broad team of finance network at all levels within the company.
This position will support government audits of the incurred costs submission, disclosure statement, business systems, and other similar areas. Conducting queries and analysis to support multiple areas.

In this role, you will:
- Support DCAA audits of the annual Incurred Cost Submission, Disclosure Statements, Cost Impacts, Financial Capability Reviews, Business Systems & Other compliance areas.
- Be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the annual incurred cost submission.
- Perform unallowable cost scrubs to identify transactions that should be excluded from the Corporate Incurred Cost Submission.
- Perform Assurance Reviews related to DFARS Business Systems and other financial areas.
- Monitor changes to FAR/DFAR/CAS & Other pertinent regulations.
- Support periodic reviews of Disclosure Statements to ensure adequacy and compliance, along with making revisions.
- Work special Projects as needed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A High School Diploma/GED
- United States Citizenship
- A minimum of 3 years of directly applicable experience
- Previous experience in government contracting
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS regulations
- Knowledge of Deltek CostPoint
- Experience with MS office suite, with high level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with the DCAA ICE model and preparing various incurred cost schedules
- Experience working with DCAA auditors
- Must have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
