IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY

Concord, CA

We are seeking a full-time Associate for our Concord, CA office.

Qualifications:

• J.D. Degree and active state bar members (will consider State Bar Exam Applicants Previous experience in law and/or immigration preferred (Will consider candidates with no prior immigration experience)
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, WordPerfect, Lexis/Nexus)
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients and prepare applications for relief (i.e. Applications for Asylum, Visa Petition, Applications for Naturalization).
• Represent clients in Immigration Court and at USCIS administrative interviews
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients regarding their immigration status in the United States
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Location: Concord, CA (Located across the street from Concord BART Station)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00
