Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Litigation Assistant to join our busy team in Boca Raton, Florida.

Position Summary:

The Litigation Assistant is an essential point of contact between the Firm and any subsequent attorneys. They help facilitate the case process from when the team associates litigation co-counsel until conclusion. The Litigation Assistant will be trained to assist the team in facilitating a smooth case process by helping the co-counsel firms with various tasks, getting updates on the cases, and keeping open communication with the co-counsel firm and the clients.

Essential Job Functions:

• Download and send case files to co-counsel firms for review.
• Communicate with clients and keep them informed of the process.
• Request updates on the cases with each co-counsel firm.
• Assist co-counsel firms with tasks/requests as needed.
• Provide co-counsel firms with final case costs.
• Email co-counsel firms any faxes/documents received on their cases.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

• Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Legal experience preferred.
• Comfortable speaking with clients and staff/attorneys from other law firms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Work well individually and with others. Be a good team-player.
