JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Logistics/Distribution Assistant to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

As a Logistics/Distribution Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers. You will report directly to the Transportation Manager.

This position is onsite and based in our Coppell, TX facility.

What You Will Do

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating job site deliveries and production order flow, ensuring safe and on-time pickup and delivery.
• Distribute and slot tickets as required.
• Provide customer service and support to customers via the phone and email, as well as will-call.
• Communicate customer service needs with drivers, sales, and operations.
• Update scheduling database with ticket details

Who You Are

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Solid customer service background.
• Answering a high volume of calls from Drivers, Customers, and Sales Team.
• Logistics or transportation experience.
• 2+ years of basic computer skills, with ability to be trained in company software.
