Maintenance Technician III summary

The ideal applicant for this job will be someone who has a strong sense of pride in a job well done and understands how important their role is to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and aesthetics of a property.

Maintenance Technician III responsibilities

• Basic lighting/electrical maintenance
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
• Implement preventative maintenance measures
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol

Maintenance Technician III physical requirements

• Frequent bending and mild to moderate lifting
• Must be physically able to climb and work from ladders and perform mild to moderate general cleanup and maintenance work on a regular/daily basis (frequent bending/squatting and mild to moderate lifting of 50 lbs. or more
• Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Texas driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle transportation to travel to various assigned properties

Maintenance Technician III skill requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 5+ years of releated experience
• Must provide own vehicle for transportation to and from work and from property to property as needed.
• Journeyman Electrical Apprentice experience, a plus
• Handyman skills/general maintenance experience preferred
• Plumbing experience, a plus
• HVAC experience a plus
• Previous experience in supervising other employees, a plus
