The Medical Transporter is responsible for transporting consumers to and from scheduled medical appointments. Accountable for all prepared consultations to be taken to and from medical appts. Completes assigned RN-instructed tasks assigned by the RN to ensure billable tasks are captured and documented. Utilize appropriate customer service skills during telephone and face-to-face contact with employees, professionals, consultants, consumers and with the consumer's family/guardian. Need to have computer skills to track appts, monitor return appts and maintain calendar of assigned scheduled appts. Maintain a safe environment following all safety rules and regulations at all times., etc.

Skills Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, doctor's office staff, consumers, guardians/family members
• Familiarity with current HCS principles and other legal requirements of consumer home care
• Ability to be thorough in performing work and conscientious in attention to details
• Ability to remember and relay information accurately
• Must be professional, courteous, and maintain good attendance
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with ALL Kenmar employees

Pay: $13.50 per hour
