Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor (http://www.teledynedalsa.com/semi/), located in Bromont (Quebec, Canada) is a specialized MEMS wafer foundry offering advanced and innovative MEMS manufacturing technologies. Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor is currently expanding its MEMS foundry services and is looking for a talented and dynamic MEMS process integration engineer with experience in MEMS technology and product development. This position is opened in our Bromont (Quebec, Canada) R&D and production facility.

The main responsibility of our MEMS process integration engineer is to assume the role of technical leader in our multidisciplinary project teams and interface with our customers on a technical level. The position requires a good understanding of all aspects of MEMS manufacturing process development and of the new product introduction procedures.

Résumé du poste et des responsabilités / Position Summary and Responsibilities

More precisely, the responsibilities of the MEMS Process Integration engineer will be to work in collaboration with our MEMS scientists already in place to:

  • Design, develop and introduce in our systems new MEMS manufacturing process flows and resolve the problems associated with these new flows throughout the development cycle;
  • Identify the risks associated with the development of these flows and identify and execute contingency plans to reduce our exposure to these risks;
  • Evaluate the robustness of our manufacturing processes and its ability to meet the MEMS product specifications in a stable way over time;
  • Produce the high level specifications documents associated to the MEMS manufacturing technologies (electrical specifications, process parameters specifications) and evaluate and document the control of our processes in manufacturing reports;
  • Develop and introduce a control plan for our process flows and extract and report the capabilities of the process flow to meet the specifications;
  • Interact with our customers on all aspects of MEMS process and product development.

Exigences d'emploi / Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

    • Post graduate studies (Master or Ph.D. levels) in engineering or science with preferably a specialization in MEMS technologies, or the equivalent;
    • Experience in the development and characterization of semiconductor processes, devices or products is preferred;
    • Excellent leadership and communications skills within a project team;
    • Past experience in interacting with customers is preferred;
    • Good knowledge of both French and English languages is a strong advantage;
