Global Operations at Lam Research has embarked on a business transformation journey to create next-generation business processes and solutions to significantly increase business efficiency and speed. The Mgr, Logistics Transformation & Integration SME positionis a unique opportunity to lead the transformation to enable future business growth at an unprecedented level.
- Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery.
- Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities.
- Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.
- Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories.
- Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.
- Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
- WFE or discrete manufacturing industry experience with ETO/CTO/MTO business model in high-volume manufacturing
- Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets for decision support
- Able to work with minimal direct guidance or direction
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
- Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
- Knowledge of the systems (e.g., SAP ERP/IBP, Kinaxis, Informatica MDM, etc.,) implementation and project life cycles
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $101,000- $220,000.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
