Summary:
DMC is currently looking for Mine Technician to provide the necessary survey control for the construction and development of all facilities, infrastructure, and excavations to support underground mining.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, record and report development advance as required, on a per shift basis.
- Advise supervision of any remedial work which may be necessary to bring lining installations into compliance with project specifications.
- Measure, record and report physical and environmental conditions
- Support supervision and crews to promote safe working conditions and to work in accordance with the site rules.
- Provide updated as built and planning drawings to required parties, as required.
- Participate in accident / incident investigations as directed by supervision / safety department.
- Engineering Degree or Engineer Technician Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of Auto CAD
- Previous surveying experience is required
- Ability to work as part of a project planning team
- Underground Mining experience and/or knowledge and asset
