Operations Manager

The Operations Manager should have solid technical skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong ambition to grow. The right candidate for this position will oversee all Operations and Supply Chain tasks to move the company forward. This individual will execute the mechanics to deliver on the vision set by the Company for World Class Operations and Supply Chain Management.

This individual must also be very hands-on in the manufacturing area as well. In addition, some level of program management skills will be required. A strong working knowledge of supplier management, purchasing, and order management is required.

A Qualified Candidate will have 5+ years of experience:

• Managing all aspects of the Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain side of the business
• Overseeing the receipt and inspection of incoming inventory and goods
• Supervising stocking, recording, and controlling inventory
• Creating and managing internal Device Master Records (DMR’s) and Design History Files & Records (DHF’s / DHR’s)
• Traveling periodically to suppliers and vendors to audit their processes and procedures
• Maintaining an awareness to develop and deliver products that delight the customer and focus on quality and reliability
• Providing technical product support internally (Sales & Service) as needed
• Building, testing, and preparing products for shipment to Carrot Customers and the Field Support Team

Required Skills/Education & Abilities:

• BA degree from a 4 year credited school
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures
• Maintaining inventory control documentation
• Experience with FDA & ISO 13485 is highly desirable**
• Logistics & transportation selection and control is desirable**
• Experience working with and qualifying 3rd Party vendors & suppliers
• Experience with Salesforce.com
