Plastic Mold Setter

Dalton, GA
2nd Shift
Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 12:30am
The successful candidate will ensure that all injection molding equipment is fully functional and operating at top efficiency and quality. This position is a technical role; responsibilities to include rapid mold changes, equipment start-ups, handling process and equipment issues.
As a Plastic Injection Mold Setter, your responsibilities will include:
· Installing & removing injection molds, completing material changes, setting up work cells to standard, & ensuring all workstations are in neat and orderly condition
· Support Process Tech with regards to injection operations
· Support team leader with breaks and coverage as required
· Start up and shut down IMM’s as required and complete all relevant paperwork
· Monitor processes to ensure cycle times and product quality consistently conform to specifications and standards
Requirements:
· At least 1-2 years of relevant experience
· Forklift experience
· Experience with overload crane
· Knowledge Van Dorn & Wittmann Battenfield Injection molding machines.
· Injection operation awareness (production and process)
· Ability to operate Injection Moulding Machine and associated production cell
· Capable of completing tool change overs as required
Additional Requirements:
· Able to read, speak, and write in English.
· Pass colorblind test and required training assessments
Pay: TBD Based on experience
