We are Detroit's leading Mental Health and Psychiatric Hospital offering comprehensive inpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Our programming addresses behavioral and mental health concerns, as well as co-occurring substance abuse issues.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS: FT Days (7a-7:30p), FT Nights (7p-7:30a) working 3/12 hr shifts with every other weekend rotation. PRN also available!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE REGISTERED NURSE (RN):
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing the physical and behavioral health needs of patient, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
- Ensure patient’s status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information gathered is documented. Notify physician of significant changes in status
Nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs. The initial treatment plan is completed upon admission.
EDUCATION/LICENSE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of Michigan.
- Previous nursing experience in psychiatric care is preferred but not required.
- New grad nurses are welcome to apply!
Job Types: Full-time, PRN
Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour
