What does the QSE Quality Compliance & Programs Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Responsible for designing, building, managing, and administering Quality and Food Safety programs to support regulatory compliance and prevention of quality and food safety events. Program needs will be determined through data analysis, regulatory changes, The Coca-Cola Company requirements and Swire policies related to Quality and Food Safety. Responsible to ensure that all change management activities, including vendor relationships, are in place to support deployment and execution and that a consistent Quality and Food Safety outcome is ensured.
Responsibilities
- Steward the development, enhancement, deployment and execution of the Swire Coca Cola Quality and Food Safety Management Systems. Influence leadership to ensure full execution, communication and compliance with quality and food safety programs and policies. Partner with local teams to identify and prevent losses related to process variability, inefficiencies or deviation from QFS standards.
- Conduct compliance analysis and assessments of all quality and food safety programs, minimum annually, or as changes in regulations, or process, occur. Influence leadership and operations to support, communicate, and drive the execution and sustainability of current and future quality and food safety programs and action plans. Support the Quality Food Safety supply chain pillar by building capability among the team.
- Create and execute implementation plans for program, policy, and training materials to ensure consistency in application and sustainability of those programs and activities. Manage key vendor relationships including defective material reporting reviews, quarterly business review; management of Service level agreements; support request for proposal process (RFP) (as needed); etc.
- Provide input to the overall Quality and Food Safety strategy and build capability in the QSE team. Engage with leadership to provide subject matter expertise and support to build Quality and Food Safety capability. Provide feedback regularly and ongoing to QSE leadership and team members to support overall quality and food safety performance improvement.
- Incident Management and Crisis Resolution duties with regards to quality and food safety. Responsible for managing quality events and incidents. Assist / oversee incident investigation, incident prevention, corrective actions related to those types of events. Ensuring a program that keeps pace with changing business demands.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality or Food Safety related field of study or equivalent experience (1 additional year of experience required for every 1 year of schooling) preferred
- 4+ developing and sustaining policies and programs related to Quality and Food Safety required
- 4+ years leadership role either in project management, people management, responsible for outcome of team's compliance to standards preferred
- 2+ years technical abilities with regards to statistical process control, calibration, database management, or similar technical experience. required
- Proficiency in regulatory interpretation and compliance
