North Eastern Services (NES) is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to work at the St. George, Utah location. The Registered Nurse in this position will perform a variety of tasks such as hourly professional medication monitoring, testing, and nursing services necessary to provide medication management to assist in the health and welfare of the person. This position includes regularly scheduled, periodic visits by a nurse to assess the person about their health and safety particularly as it is affected by the maintenance medication regimen that has been prescribed by their physician, to review and monitor for the presence and timely completion of necessary laboratory testing related to the medication regimen, and to offer patient instruction and education regarding this medication regimen. Nurses in this position will also be responsible for providing incidental training to staff on topical matters surrounding general patient care. The Registered Nurse’s primary responsibility is to monitor the effects of medications that are prescribed and ordered by the clients’ respective physician. The Registered Nurse is required to keep track of all client medical equipment, summaries of client medical appointments during the month, any new medications that were added to the clients medication regimen, education done with staff and clients, and additional organization and review of MAR’s and medications listed. This position requires accuracy with monthly billings and matching time sheets throughout the month.

Successful candidates will possess:

· Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Utah.

· Competency with medication administration

· Competent with patient assessment

· Competent with communication of information to provider

· Competent in documentation

· A solid understanding of principles, theories, and practices of nursing

· The ability to follow and apply treatment plans developed by a licensed professional

· An understanding of first aid and CPR

· Arrange, coordinate, or schedule time and details

· Observe physical conditions, behavior, or surroundings for potential areas of concern or inappropriate activity

This position provides flexibility and the ability to make your own schedule. RN will bill for 15 hours each month with room to increase hours as more patients are given services from NES.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
