McGuireWoods LLP is searching for a Senior Revenue Specialist to join our team in our Richmond, Virginia office. The Senior Revenue Specialist will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Revenue & Disbursements to analyze work-in-process (WIP) and accounts receivable (AR) inventory balances, and will work to identify and resolve issues in the revenue conversion process. This position offers a great opportunity for an experienced analytical and billing professional to interact with McGuireWoods attorneys, staff and clients.

- Research and report on WIP and AR balances for the likelihood of conversion and compliance with billing and payment terms; escalate to firm management as appropriate.
- Review and analyze data to identify potential problems and overruns on budget and/or scope of engagement.
- Partner with Billing and Pricing teams to ensure proper tracking of billing frequencies, types of engagement, and pricing.
- Analyze revenue conversion data to assist with the modeling of monthly forecasts.
- Develop a process to identify and maintain tracking of transactional engagements’ scheduled closing dates to improve revenue forecasting.
- Review WIP write-down and AR write-off activity and analyze with reason code data.
- Requires bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training with billing or data analytics; or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to summarize and communicate data findings and recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with multiple colleagues, lawyers, and clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Elite 3E Law Firm Management software is a plus.
