Responsibilities:

• Maintain high quality customer service by efficiently, accurately and quickly selecting orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in assigned work area, the facility and on company property
• Cross train, to meet workload needs and maintain company needs
• Handles incoming shipments and verifies that quality and quantity are correct
• Receives and unloads merchandise and checks for damaged goods
• Stocks primary item locations to effectively eliminate highlighting items for backorders
• Responsible for confirming orders are correct in a timely manner
• Conducts physical inventories as required
• Ensure items being packaged are not damaged or broken
• Weigh, measure and calculate package sizes as needed
• Meet and maintain company productivity and quality standards
• Able to work mandatory overtime as needed to complete customer orders
• Accurately pick orders for shipment
• Label and mark containers
• Work effectively to have all customer orders packed for shipment
• Communicate and cooperate with management and co-workers
• Support periods of increased business by working overtime, weekends and various schedules as needed
• Completes all documents fully, neatly and accurately
• Performs various tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a picking/packing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Adheres to all safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Able to work as a team
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to read and perform simple math quickly and accurately
• Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders
• Must be flexible and able to change work hours
