Business Development Representative
Job description
The Business Development Representative is responsible for overseeing the process of business development within the organization to promote its longevity/growth. The selected individual will work closely with our Head of Growth and leadership team, meet with potential business partners, maintain existing client relationships, and monitor market trends to come up with new business ventures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proactively identify and research opportunities that come up in new and existing market.
- Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential partnerships.
- Use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with ABA Owners.
- Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base.
- Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns.
- Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (more specifically- cold calls)
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Track record of achieving quotas
- Understanding of performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong time management and organization
- Highly proficient with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
