Human Resources Coordinator- Primarily Recruiting

Role Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator aides with and facilitates the HR processes by completing a variety of administrative duties and projects. Partnering with the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will support the Departments daily functions with a broad knowledge of Human Resources including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, staffing management, and learning and development.

Part Time 25-29 hours a week

9:00am to 3:00pm. Monday through Friday (can be flexible with the schedule for the right candidate)

Pay is based on experience

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for the complete recruiting cycle including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting phone interviews, coordinating interviews, hiring, submitting background checks, arranging drug screens, etc.
  • Conducts new hire orientation/onboarding for new employees.
  • Provide strong customer service and support for employee retention efforts, included be not limited to new hire survey meetings.
  • Temporary staff support and invoicing.
  • Maintains ongoing employee training and documentation.
  • Provide strong customer service and support to employees by promptly responding to questions or concerns pertaining to PAYCOM, employment verifications, payroll, benefits, safety, and training.
  • Plans employee appreciation events including holiday events, retirement parties, service awards, quarterly appreciation events and anniversary events.
  • Maintain employee files, both paper and electronic.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
  • Keep up-to-date on latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and state and federal laws
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Have:

  • Past HR experience
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Teaching or related field
  • PHR certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with Paycom (HRIS)
