Manufacturing Quality Technician
Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Quality Technician to join the team to assist in the support of quality metrics in Danville, VA!
Key Responsibilities - Manufacturing Quality Technician
This role will be focused on metrics in the Curing business center, around machine alarms and waste.
- Responding to machine quality alarms.
- Dispositioning alarms based on provided tolerances.
- Creating work orders for repeating alarms.
- Providing documentation for dispositions.
- Filling out end of shift reports.
- Overseeing process change trials for waste improvements.
Required Skills and Knowledge- Manufacturing Quality Technician
- Prolonged standing / walking.
- Use of Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Education and Experience - Manufacturing Quality Technician
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Manufacturing experience required
- Quality and lean manufacturing experience preferred
